BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Led by a no-hitter by senior pitcher Mariangee Bogado, the Indiana softball team downed Kentucky, 2-0, in a border war at the IU Softball Field on April 12. Bogado fanned 12 in the effort, notched the game-winning two-run homer to left field and went 2-for-3 from the plate to shoulder the Hoosier offense.
The win ends a five game skid for the Hoosiers, moving Indiana to 19-17-1 on the season, while Kentucky fell to 18-23.
Indiana looks to finish the series sweep in the second game of the twin bill set for a 4 p.m. start.
