Hoosiers Fall to #33 Gophers

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Indiana falls to 3-2 in the Big Ten after a 6-1 loss at Minnesota. The match was the first Big Ten road test for the young team. The lone Hoosier win came from freshman Will Kendall.
Kendall took down Julian Dehn at number six singles. The freshman won by a 6-3, 6-4 score. The Short Hills, N.J., native notched his 25th singles victory of the year, which leads all Hoosiers.
Sophomore Lachlan Ferguson lost a hard fought battle at number one singles. After dropping the first set 6-1 to #60 Ishay Hadash, Ferguson battled back to take a 7-6 win in the second set. In the final set tiebreaker, Hadash won 10-7.
