BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Hoosiers closed out the regular season with a tough loss to No. 26 Michigan on Sunday. IU took the doubles point and got a win at number three from Josh MacTaggart.
MacTaggart won in straight sets over Mike Sroczynski. The freshman from Barnston, U.K. won 6-4, 7-5.
Indiana got the doubles point with wins at number two and number three. At number two, Santiago Gruter and Jeremy Langer defeated the 58th-ranked tandem in the country. George Navas and Sroczynski fell 8-6 to Gruter and Langer.
At number three doubles, freshmen Alexander van Gils and Isade Juneau took down Chris Madden and Chris Cha by an 8-5 tally.
