No. 18 Indiana Falls at No. 13 Iowa, 4-2

IOWA CITY, Iowa - The No. 18 Indiana field hockey team suffered a 4-2 loss at No. 13 Iowa on Saturday, Oct. 15. Brenna Moeljadi netted both of the Hoosiers' (8-5, 2-3) goals in the loss.
The Hoosiers got on the board in the second minute of the game as Moeljadi converted a penalty corner, with Katie Griswold and Audra Heilman picking up the assists. The Hawkeyes (11-3, 3-2) answered in the 17th minute as Sarah Drake chipped the ball in off a corner to tie it up, 1-1. Iowa took the lead in the 30th minute as Jessica Barnett scored an unassisted goal to give the Hawkeyes a 2-1 lead at the end of the first half. Moeljadi knotted the score at 2-2 in the 49th minute on her second goal of the day on another corner with Heilman picking up another assist. However, Iowa responded with a goal in the 49th minute and another in the 67th minute for the 4-2 win.
Iowa led Indiana in shots, 17-7. However, the Hoosiers' earned 10 corners to Iowa's nine.
Viki Green started in goal for IU and recorded three saves in 70:00 minutes. Moeljadi led the Hoosiers with four shots, three on goal for two goals.
The Hoosiers return to action on Saturday, Oct. 22 when they face Providence in Louisville at 2 p.m. ET.
