LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The No. 19 Indiana field hockey team fell at Louisville, 1-0, Sunday, Oct. 23.
The Hoosiers (9-6) and Cardinals (10-7) were scoreless until Louisville scored in the 57th minute when Amber Thomas took a pass from the right side of the cage, scoring on the left post.
Morgan Fleetwood led Indiana with two shots on goals, while Audra Heilman recorded two shots, one on goal. Emily Bowker also tallied one shot in the game. Viki Green started in goal for IU and recorded one save in 70:00.
Indiana and Louisville were even on shot at 5-5, while the Hoosiers earned three corners to Louisville's two.
The Hoosiers return to action on Friday, Oct. 28, when it wraps up the regular season at Michigan at 4 p.m. ET.
