Hoosiers Defeated by No. 1 Illini in Four

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Indiana Volleyball (8-7, 0-3) was defeated by No. 1 Illinois (14-0, 3-0) in four sets (15-25, 25-21, 19-25, 14-25) on Friday in Champaign, Ill. After Illinois grabbed the opening set by ten points, IU battled back with an impressive second set win before the Illini took control late in the match.
The Hoosiers were led in kills by Kelci Marschall with 12 and Kristen Seaton with eight. IU also received 30 assists from Mary Chaudoin. Morgan Leach, a Champaign, Ill. native, hit .235 on the night with six kills. Caitlin Cox led the Hoosiers in digs with 13.
