IU Cages the Jaguars

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana men's tennis (14-4, 2-1 Big Ten, No. 21) dominated IUPUI on Sunday, winning 7-0. The Hoosiers won all three doubles matches and all six singles matches in a sweep of the intra-state opponent.
IU won easily at number one and three doubles, but the Jaguars made a match of it at number two. Josh MacTaggart and Alastair Barnes fought off a comeback attempt by Joel Modesitt and Nick Volz to win 8-6.
IU went right to work in singles action, taking all six matches in straight sets. Isade Juneau defeated Volz at number one, 6-1, 6-3. At number two, MacTaggart took down Ivan Mojsejev 6-1, 6-1. Jeremy Langer held off a Chase Emerson comeback to win 6-1, 7-6 (7-4) at number three. Dimitrije Tasic won 6-3, 6-1 at four, while Will Kendall knocked off Deon Shafer 6-4, 6-1 at five. Barnes took out Modesitt at six by a 6-0, 6-3 tally.
