Hoosiers Put a Hurting on the Hawkeyes

IOWA CITY, Iowa - Indiana men's tennis (15-7, 3-3 Big Ten, No. 33) knocked off Iowa, 6-1, on Friday. The Hoosiers got straight set wins at one, three, four, five, and six singles and won two of three doubles matches.
In doubles, Josh MacTaggart and Alastair Barnes won 8-1 at number two, and Will Kendall and Stephen Vogl won 8-1 at number three to wrap up the doubles point for the Hoosiers.
Singles saw Iowa even things up at 1-1, winning at number two with Will Vasos taking down MacTaggart 6-4, 6-1. Dimitrije Tasic quickly got the Hoosiers back on top, winning over Christopher Speer at six by a 6-0, 6-0 score. IU never looked back.
At five, Will Kendall scored next, taking down Tom Mroziewicz, 6-2, 6-1. Jeremy Langer was next to finish, winning 6-3, 6-3 over Garret Dunn at three. Stephen Vogl and Isade Juneau closed out the match with wins at four and one respectively. Vogl took down Jonas Dierckx 6-3, 7-5, and Juneau beat Matt Hagan, 7-5, 6-1.
