Anderson Leads Trio of Hoosiers in Pentathlon

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Sophomore Dylan Anderson led three Hoosiers, with a second-place finish in the men’s pentathlon on the final day of the Hoosier Open Saturday at Gladstein Fieldhouse.
Anderson finished in second-place with 3,779 points, his highest point total in the 60-meter hurdles with 839 in a time of 8.59. Anderson’s point total is 181 points higher than at this same meet last year.
Junior Matt Gerbick finished in third-place with 3,685 points and sophomore Stephen Keller was third with 3,556 points.
The Hoosiers will now take a break from competition for final exams and winter break and will resume action Saturday Jan. 11 as they host the Indiana Open at Gladstein Fieldhouse.
