Hoosiers Fall 3-0 at Duke

DURHAM, N.C. - Indiana Volleyball (8-2) fell in straight sets to Duke (8-2) on Friday in the first of two matches for IU in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Duke won 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-18). Amelia Anderson led the Hoosiers with nine kills while Jordan Haverly had eight, Caitlin Hansen added 12 digs and Katie Gallagher had 18 assists and three aces.
In the first set, the Hoosiers and Blue Devils battled back and forth to a 13-13 tie, but then Duke got things going and cruised to a 25-16 set win. Indiana got three kills each from Haverly and Anderson.
The second set saw the Blue Devils storm out to a big lead and hold onto it for a 25-18 win. Indiana got four kills from Haverly and six digs from Hansen in the frame.
The third set saw Duke continue to roll, winning 25-18. Anderson had three kills in the match.
