• For the last two games (vs. EWU and UNCG), IU has outscored its opponents in bench points 46-17.
• The Hoosiers have made 117 free throws on the season in comparison to only 89 attempts from their opponents.
• Indiana starters tonight were Blackmon, Ferrell, Johnson, Mosquera-Perea and Williams. This is Williams first start of the season and 33rd of his career.
• This marks the fourth time (in six games) that Indiana has had at least five players hit one or more three-pointers.
• Freshman James Blackmon Jr. had a team-high 24 points. Blackmon has scored in double figures in all six games this season. He also pulled down a season-high and game-high nine rebounds.
• Junior Kevin Yogi Ferrell scored 15 points. He has scored at least 13 points in every game this season. This marks the second time in Ferrell’s career that he has at least 15 points, six rebounds and six assists (vs. JMU in the second round of the 2012-13 NCAA Tournament in Dayton - 19 points, eight rebounds, six assists).
• Sophomore Collin Hartman scored seven points (ties career-high - EWU) and grabbed four rebounds (ties career-high - four times) in 16 minutes of play.
• Sophomore Troy Williams scored 11 points on 4-of-6 (66.7 percent) shooting. Williams has scored in double-digits in the four games he’s played this season.
• Junior Hanner Mosquera-Perea scored 10 points and had six rebounds.
• Freshman Robert Johnson had 11 points, two assists and one rebound.
• Five Hoosiers finished the night in double figures - Blackmon (24), Ferrell (15), Johnson (11), Williams (11) and Mosquera-Perea (10). This is the third time this year that IU has had five players score in double-figures.
• The Hoosiers will play Pittsburgh this Tuesday, December 2 at 7 pm in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge (Assembly Hall).
