• Head Coach Tom Crean improves his career record to 299-195 (16th season).
• Indiana had 52 rebounds, which is the most since 53 against Mississippi Valley State (11/14/14). The Hoosiers also had 21 offensive rebounds - the most since pulling down 24 versus Michigan two seasons ago (3/10/2013).
• Four turnovers are the fewest in the Tom Crean 16 year coaching career and the fewest at IU since 2006 (against Western Illinois - 3).
• The Hoosiers held Grand Canyon to 12.5 percent (2-of-16) from behind the arc. That is the lowest opponent three-point percentage since the opening game last year against Chicago State.
• Indiana shot 51.4 percent (18-of-35) from the field in the second half.
• The Hoosiers, who came into the game ranked fifth nationally in scoring, have scored 50 or more points in five halves this season.
• Junior Kevin Yogi Ferrell hit at least one three pointer in the last 41 consecutive games. Ferrell scored eight points and dished out three assists.
• Freshman James Blackmon, Jr. score 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting (50 percent), pulled down six rebounds and ties a career-high assists with three assists.
• Junior Hanner Mosquera-Perea scored 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Over the last two games, Mosquera-Perea is shooting 69.2 percent (9-of-13) from the field.
• Sophomore Troy Williams scored 14 points on 5-of-9 (55.5 percent ) shooting, had eight rebounds.
• Redshirt Junior Nick Zeisloft scored nine points - all from behind the three-point line. Zeisloft also had seven rebounds, which is his most as a Hoosier (8 at Illinois State).
• Freshman Max Hoetzel shot 2-of-3 and scored five points. Hoetzel also had four rebounds in 11 minutes.
• Sophomore Stan Robinson scored a season-high eight points and had three rebounds in 11 minutes.
• Sophomore Collin Hartman scored six points and pulled down five rebounds.
• Freshman Emmitt Holt scored six points and had two rebounds in 11 minutes of play.
• Redshirt junior Ryan Burton, freshman Nate Ritchie and freshman Tim Priller all played three minutes. Burton made his only field goal attempt.
• Indiana plays next against Butler in the Crossroads Classic at 2:30 pm (Bankers Life Fieldhouse).
