Game Notes
• Indiana became just the second team in the Big Ten and only third team this season to score 74 or more points against Maryland.
• Maryland came in holding opponents to 58.6 points per game and Indiana scored 74.
• Indiana controlled points in the paint (42-34) and points off turnovers (25-11). The 18 turnovers Indiana forced is the second most for Maryland in Big Ten play.
• The Hoosiers outscored Maryland 45-37 in the second half.
• Indiana recorded 18 or more assists for the eighth time this season.
• Freshman Tyra Buss led Indiana with 19 points, six assists and three steals. It is the 14th game Buss has scored in double figures and ninth game this season Buss has recorded three or more steals.
• Sophomore Alexis Gassion scored 18 points for the second straight game on 8-of-14 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds and a season-high three blocks.
• Sophomore Larryn Brooks recorded her 41st career game in double figures with 11 points and five assists.
• Sophomore Jenn Anderson recorded her 10th double figure scoring game of the season with 12 points and four rebounds.
