• Indiana erased a 21-3 deficit for its fifth victory of the season. It is tied for the third-largest comeback in school history. The Hoosiers came back from 18 points down at Illinois (25-7; Oct. 7, 2006), 21 points vs. Illinois (28-7; Oct. 2, 1999) and 23 points at Iowa (26-3; Sept. 8, 1979).
• Today is the 10th time under Kevin Wilson the Hoosiers have scored 45-plus points, the 15th time of eclipsing 550 total yards and 11th time throwing for 350-plus yards.
• Nate Sudfeld finished with 385 yards on 23-of-35 passing with a career-high-tying four passing touchdowns, fourth time, and one rushing score. He equaled his career-best with five total TDs.
• The senior matched Ben Chappell (2007-10) with his ninth career 300-yard game, a school record, including five this season, second on IU's single-season list. Sudfeld, Indiana's all-time TDs leader with 54, became the third Hoosier to reach 7,000 passing yards (7,140), sits third all-time in completions (547), fifth in attempts (903) and fourth in total offense (7,239).
• Sudfeld is fifth in passing touchdowns (20), fourth in passing yardage (2,834) and sixth in total offense (2,862) on the program's single-season lists.
• Simmie Cobbs, Jr., led the Hoosiers with career-highs in receptions (9) and yards (192). The 192 yards for Cobbs rank eighth in school history. It is the sophomore's third career 100-yard game, all in 2015.
• Mitchell Paige added five catches for 64 yards, including a career-high two touchdowns.
• Sophomore running back Devine Redding finished with a career-high 130 yards on 24 carries (5.4 average). The 100-yard game for Redding is the first of his career.
• Senior Andre Booker hauled in a career-long 59-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter. He came into the game with 59 yards on the season. He finished with two receptions (matches career-high) for a personal-best 79 yards and his second career TD.
• Redshirt freshman Luke Timian recorded his first career reception, a 24-yarder, in the second quarter.
• For the second time in as many weeks, Griffin Oakes matched an IU single-game record with four field goals, from 21, 19 and 48 and 36 yards. The redshirt sophomore is 20-of-22 on the season (90.1 percent) and 33-of-40 in his career (82.5 percent). Oakes 20 field goals are second on the school's single-season list and the 33 field goals share seventh.
• The Hoosiers converted an onside kick attempt in the second quarter. Oakes is 2-of-2 this year and 5-of-6 in his career.
• Indiana's defense held Maryland to just seven points over the last 50:32.
• Redshirt sophomore linebacker Marcus Oliver and sophomore linebacker Tegray Scales each led the team with seven tackles. Scales added a half-TFL.
• Redshirt sophomore cornerback Rashard Fant matched a career-high with four pass breakups, third time, and recovered the onside kick.
• Redshirt junior linebacker Dawson Fletcher finished with a career-high six tackles.
• Sophomore defensive tackle Robert McCray III picked up his first career sack in the third quarter.
• Indiana outscored Maryland, 17-7, in the third quarter and owns a 119-34 edge in the third in 2015.
• Redshirt freshman safety Will Dawkins earned his first career start.
• Center Jake Reed (second time this season), nose tackle Adarius Rayner (fourth time), bandit Zack Shaw (fifth time) and left tackle Jason Spriggs (fourth time) served as Indiana's game captains.
• The Hoosiers wore the state flag helmets with the IU logo.
