Indiana Game Notes |
• The Hoosiers held a 13-8 advantage in fast break points.
• Indiana matched a season-high with nine steals (at Purdue, vs. Mississippi State).
• Indiana held Purdue to 2-of-18 (11.1 percent) from beyond the three-point arc.
• Junior Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell led the Hoosiers with 21 points, his ninth game this season with 20 or more points.
• Ferrell continued his nation leading streak of three-pointers in a game and has now recorded at least one three-pointer in 58 straight games.
• Ferrell moved into 30th on the IU all-time scoring list and now has 1,260 points for his career. He needs another six points to move into 29th on the list.
• Ferrell dished out four assists and now has 407 for his career, which ranks seventh on the Hoosiers all-time list. Next on the list is Randy Wittman with 432.
• Sophomore Troy Williams scored in double-figures for the sixth straight game with 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Williams has averaged 16 points and 8.8 rebounds over the last six games.
• Freshman James Blackmon Jr., reached double digits for the 21st time this season with 14 points.
• Junior Hanner Mosquera-Perea scored eight points in a row for the Hoosiers from the 16:55 mark to the 13:29 mark of the first half and finished the game with 10 points.
• Mosquera-Perea made his first start since Jan. 10 vs. Ohio State.
• Up next the Hoosiers travel to Rutgers for a game Sunday Feb. 22 at 5:15 PM ET on the Big Ten Network.
