
Hoosiers Dominate Scarlet Knights on the Road, 84-54

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- The Hoosiers dominated the Scarlet Knights in the second half to win 84-54. The 30 point margin of victory is the largest against a Big Ten opponent since the 97-60 victory at Purdue in February 2013.
James Blackmon Jr. and Kevin Yogi Ferrell led the Hoosiers with 17 points each. Hanner Mosquera-Perea added a career high 13 points, shooting 3-of-3 from the field and 7-of-8 from the free throw line.
With the Hoosiers trailing 16-14 with 10:03 remaining in the first half, Indiana went on a 9-0 run to take a 23-16 lead with eight minutes to go. The run was capped off with a lay-in from Blackmon Jr.
Blackmon would push the Hoosier lead to 12 with under two mintues to go in the first, scoring his 14th point of the half.
Indiana started the second half strong with a 9-0 run. It was part of a larger 17-3 going back to the 3:30 mark in the first half.
In the second half, Nick Zeisloft would score 11 of his 13 points. For the game the redshirt sophomore shot 5-of-6 (83.3 percent) from the field and 3-of-4 (75.0 percent) from behind the arc.
Indiana made seven three pointers in the second half and led by as many as 31.
The Hoosiers travel to Northwestern on Wednesday for a mid-week matchup against the Wildcats at 7 p.m. ET.
