Game Notes
• Indiana outscored Northwestern 23-11 in bench points marking the 17th game this season in which the Hoosier reserves have outscored their opponent's.
• The Hoosiers shot 87.5 percent (14-of-16) from the free throw line, the team's second-best free throw percentage in a game this season (90 percent vs. Wisconsin on Jan. 11).
• IU won the rebounding battle, 33-32, marking the 11th time this year that Indiana has outrebounded an opponent.
• Freshman Tyra Buss tallied 17 points with three assists, two rebounds, a block and a steal. Buss has scored in double figures 16 games this year.
• Sophomore Karlee McBride scored in double figures for the ninth time this season, finishing with 15 points off the bench for the Hoosiers.
• Sophmore Alexis Gassion tallied 11 points with six boards, two assists, a block and a steal. Gassion has scored in double digits in four of the last five games and in seven games overall this season.
• Freshman Amanda Cahill led Indiana with 12 rebounds to go along with seven points, two assists and a block. Cahill has skied for 10 or more boards in nine games this season.
