400 Individual Medley
Senior Dorina Szekeres led Indiana in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:10.74, placing 23rd. Right behind her in 24th was freshman Sam Lisy, posting a career-best time of 4:10.83. Sophomore Bailey Pressey was 41st in the field with a time of 4:15.88.
100 Butterfly Sophomore Gia Dalesandro was Indiana's lone entrant in the 100 butterfly, finishing 29th in a time of 52.67.
200 Freestyle
Both Hoosiers earned second swims in the 200 freestyle, led by freshman Kennedy Goss who becomes Indiana's first A finalist of the meet. Goss qualified fourth overall with a time of 1:43.67, a new Indiana record. Qualifying for the consolation final in 11th overall was Haley Lips with a career best of 1:44.06. That is the third-fastest time in IU history.
100 Backstroke Junior Brooklynn Snodgrass is the fifth-fastest qualifier for tonight's championship final of the 100 backstroke, going 51.63 in prelims. Making her first-ever consolation final in an individual event is senior Justine Ress, who finished ninth in prelims with a career-best time of 51.75. That is more than a second faster than her previous best of 52.92. Freshman Marie Chamberlain was 27th in a time of 52.98.
