Rodrigue Bats in Game-Winner over Villanova

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- Indiana picked up its second walk-off win in the bottom of the ninth inning this season, winning 4-3 over Villanova on Friday on Casey Rodrigue's RBI single to right field that allowed Austin Cangelosi to score the winning run.
After Cangelosi walked with one out, the sophomore stole second and Isaiah Pasteur was intentionally walked to give IU two runners on base.
Brad Hartong's single loaded the bases before Rodrigue belted the game winner.
For Indiana, it was its first of two games Friday at the Snowbird Baseball Classic at North Charlotte Regional Park in Port Charlotte, Fla. The Hoosiers also topped Dartmouth, 8-6, in the evening.
Thomas Belcher (2-0) picked up the win, dishing out a career-best six strikeouts in a season-high 3.1 innings pitched. Belcher allowed zero runs after Villanova built a 3-0 lead in the top of the sixth.
Logan Sowers hit his first career home run, a two-run shot in the bottom of the sixth to put the Hoosiers on the board.
After a scoreless seventh inning, Rodrigue blasted his second home run of the season at the and his career to right field to tie the game at three, setting up his game-winning heroics in the ninth.

••• Craig Dedelow had a team-best and career-high three hits in four at bats.
