IU Lands 11 on Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete List

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Indiana Softball has landed 11 members on the 2015-16 Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athletes list.
Shannon Cawley, Kennedy Cribbs, Kassi Farmer, Michelle Huber, Maria Latimer, Nicole Lawvere, Aimilia McDonough, Alyssa Rosati, Tara Trainer, CaraMia Tsirigos and Taylor Uden all earned the honor.
Out of Big Ten programs, Indiana placed the second-most students on the list behind 12 from Illinois.
The award is the fourth in a row for Farmer, while Huber earned her third straight nod. Cawley, Cribbs, Latimer and Uden are all two-time honorees.
The Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete distinction is given each year to those who achieve at least a 3.50 GPA for the school year.
Over the summer, the Hoosiers saw a program-record 13 students land on the Academic All-Big Ten list, including Cawley, Cribbs, Farmer, Huber, Latimer, Tsirigos and Uden.
