Postgame Notes
• IU out-rebounded Nebraska 43-37. The Hoosiers have held the rebounding edge in every game this season outside of the UNC game (tied at 37 per team). Indiana owns the best rebounding margin in the country, outworking opponents by 14.7 boards a game coming into this contest.
• The Hoosiers grabbed a season-high 22 offensive rebounds. It is the most offensive rebounds for Indiana since 3/10/13 against Michigan when they had 24 offensive boards.
• With Nebraska up 28-16 at the 10:33 mark of the first period the Hoosiers ended the half with a 20-5 scoring run. Indiana held Nebraska without a field goal for the final 5:44 of the period. Indiana led 36-33 at halftime.
• Indiana connected on 11 3-point field goals, the sixth game this season they have hit at least 10 3-point field goals.
• The Hoosiers had their 10th game of the season with at least 15 assists and their third in a row.
• The loss snapped Indiana's 26-game home winning streak, which was the fifth longest streak in program history and was the fourth longest active streak in the nation.
• Indiana had five players score in double-figures for the fourth time this season and the last was against Houston Baptist on 12/10/16.
• Robert Johnson led the Hoosiers with 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field and 5-of-7 from 3-point range. Over his last six games Johnson has shot 37-of-67 (52.2 percent). Over his last two games Johnson has shot 11-of-17 (64.7 percent) from beyond the 3-point arc.
• Thomas Bryant posted his sixth career and fourth this season double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. He tied career-highs with four assists and four blocks. It is the third game this season he has tallied at least four blocks. His seven free-throws made also tied a career-high.
• James Blackmon Jr. tallied 12 points and grabbed six rebounds. Blackmon now has 939 career points and remains 53rd on the Hoosiers all-time scoring list.
• OG Anunoby scored 12 points and added eight rebounds. Six of his eight rebounds were offensive rebounds.
• Josh Newkirk scored 11 points and added two rebounds, two assists and two steals.
• In 17 minutes off the bench Juwan Morgan scored three points and grabbed four rebounds.
• De'Ron Davis tallied four points, three rebounds and two blocked shots in 11 minutes off the bench.
• Freshmen Devonte Green and Curtis Jones added three points and two points off the bench respectively.
