Postgame Notes
• The Indiana Hoosiers posted their first shutout win of the season, and their first since last year's 2-0 win at home versus Rutgers on October 30, 2015.
• This is the first game of the season that the Hoosiers didn't concede any attack penalty corners, a feat Indiana last accomplished on September 3, 2011 versus Ball State.
• The Hoosiers are now 4-0 all-time versus the UC Davis Aggies, with three neutral site wins and a home victory in 2014.
• Both Malia Fujisawa and Andi Jackson played against their hometown university in Monday's win. The Hoosiers both hail from Davis, California and graduated from Davis Senior High School.
• Junior Maddie Latino scored her first goal of the season, a stunner in the first 74 seconds of the game. Latino led the Hoosiers last season in scoring with 10 goals and eight assists.
• Kate Barber entered the score sheet for the third consecutive game with her 32nd-minute rebound goal. Barber has scored five goals in the Hoosiers' first four games.
• Malia Fujisawa earned her first career assist on a precision long ball to Latino in the game's second minute.
• This game marks the first time this season that the Hoosiers opened scoring in the game.
• Noëlle Rother earned her fourth career shutout in the 2-0 win. The sophomore posted clean sheets in 2015 at Ohio State (10/16), versus Penn State (10/18), and versus Rutgers (10/30).
• Morgan Dye played her final game in front of a hometown crowd in Columbus. A native of nearby Powell, Ohio, Dye placed both of her shot attempts on frame versus the Aggies.
