Indiana at Maryland
• Indiana out-rebounded the Terrapins, 37-34, and have still not been out-rebounded by any opponent this season.
• For the second game in a row, every play that saw action grabbed at least one rebound.
• For the 12th time in 17 games, Indiana hauled down double digit offensive rebounds (15)
• IU went 10-of-23 from behind the 3-point line in the game, marking the eighth time this season they have made at least 10 3-point field goals in a game.
• Indiana trailed Maryland by a 43-40 margin with 17:52 left in the game but went on a 15-7 run over the next 5:43 to take a 55-50 lead with 12:09 left.
• The Hoosiers blocked six shots in the game, giving them 91 for the season. With a minimum of 15 games left on the schedule, the Hoosiers are pace to have a team total that ranks in the top 10 in school history for the second straight season.
• Junior guard James Blackmon Jr. finished with a game-high 22 points and surpassing 1,000 career point mark at Indiana. He reached the milestone in just 62 games, the 11th-fastest to reach 1,000 career points in IU history. It's his seventh game of 20-plus points this season and the 20th such game of his career (62 games)
• Blackmon Jr. was also 4-of-8 from behind the 3-point line in the game and is 9-of-17 from long range over the last two games.
• Thomas Bryant registered three blocked shots in the game, giving him 29 through the first 17 games. Last year, in 35 games, he had a total of 32 blocked shots. He also added six points, a team-high seven rebounds and two assists.
• Robert Johnson was the second IU player to reach double figures in the scoring column, tallying 13 points to go with four rebounds. He has scored in double figures in 15 of the team's 17 games so far this season.
• Juwan Morgan finished with six points but also grabbed five rebounds, handed out two assists and blocked a pair of shots. He was a perfect 4-of-4 at the charity stripe and is now 41-of-50 at the free throw line this season.
• Josh Newkirk was 4-of-6 from the field on his way to nine points and three rebounds.
• OG Anunoby came off the bench to score five points and haul down three boards.
• Devonte Green played solid in the first half and came away with five points and two rebounds.
• Curtis Jones drilled a pair of 3-point field goals, just the third time he has made multiple 3-point field goals. It's also the third straight game that the freshman from Richmond, Virginia has connected from long-range.
