Indiana 76, Rutgers 57

• With a 76-57 win over Rutgers, Indiana improves to 12-6 (2-3) on the season.
• OG Anunoby nabbed a career best seven steals in the win, tying him with William Gladness (11/25/99) and Jim Crews (3/27/76) for fourth most in a game by an IU player. OG also scored 11 points, including a trio of break-away dunks.
• IU came away with 14 steals in the win, the most they have had in a game all season and the most they have recorded in a conference game under head coach Tom Crean.
• The Hoosiers exploded for an extended run of 27-6, jumping out to a 37-23 lead, midway through the first half. The run spanned 7:24 on the game clock.
• Rutgers committed 21 turnovers, a season high for IU's defense and the most since forcing 23 against Morehead State. The last time IU forced at least 21 turnovers in conference play was Jan. 24, 2010 against Iowa. The last time Indiana forced more than 21 turnovers in a Big Ten game was Feb. 24, 2007 against Michigan State (23).
• The Scarlet Knights connected on just one 3-point attempt. The last time the Hoosier defense allowed fewer than two 3-points makes was against New Orleans (1-13) on Dec. 22, 2014. The last conference game with the opponent making less than two 3-point attempts was Mar. 2, 2014 against Ohio State (0-11).
• Indiana was extremely balanced offensively. All five starters scored at least six points. A total of 10 Hoosiers scored at least four points in the game.
• James Blackmon Jr. led the Hoosiers in scoring with 16 points. He was 6-of-10 on shots inside the 3-point line. Blackmon passed Jared Jeffries for 49th on the all-time IU scoring list with 1,022 career points.
• Juwan Morgan blocked three shot attempts in the game. Morgan also chipped in seven points and three rebounds.
•Robert Johnson reached double-figures with 10 points. The junior also ripped down a team best five rebounds.
• Thomas Bryant recorded eight points and three boards in 23 minutes of action.
• Curtis Jones was perfect from behind the arc, connecting on both of his attempts. Jones finished with six points, one rebound, an assist and one steal.
• Josh Newkirk scored six points and dished out a team high five assists.
• Devonte Green netted four points while dishing out two dimes in 15 minutes off the bench.
• Zach McRoberts drilled both of his shot attempts, giving him four points to go along with his three rebounds.
