
Indiana Women’s Basketball Debuts 2017-18 Team At Hoosier Hysteria

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Women's Basketball made its first appearance on the court this season on Saturday night as part of a packed house at Hoosier Hysteria presented by Smithville Fiber at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
After the introductions of the 2017-18 squad, fourth year head coach Teri Moren addressed the packed crowd. The men's and women's program combined for a 3-point shooting competition where the duo of redshirt sophomore Ali Patberg and redshirt senior Josh Newkirk were crowned the champions.
The 2017-18 regular season officially kicks off on Friday, November 11 at home against Arkansas State. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET. IU will play its lone exhibition game on Monday, November 6 against Gannon University. Admission is free and will be the team's annual ALS Awareness Game.
