• Redshirt freshman quarterback Peyton Ramsey finished the game 31-of-41 for 279 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.
• The three passing touchdowns was a career-high, while the 41 attempts matched his career-high.
• Fifth-year senior quarterback Richard Lagow completed 12-of-21 passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns.
• Lagow and Ramsey are the first IU quarterback duo to throw two-or-more touchdowns in the same game since Nate Sudfeld and Cameron Coffman against Ball State on Sept. 15, 2012.
• Lagow's 25 career passing touchdowns rank ninth all-time in school history. Lagow also notched his eighth-career multi-TD game.
• Redshirt junior wide receiver Simmie Cobbs Jr. recorded his third career game (all this season) with 10-or-more receptions, totaling 10 catches for a game-high 138 yards and two touchdowns. It marked the first multi-TD game of Cobbs' career.
• Cobbs now has six 100-yard games in his career, which is sixth in IU history, and two this season.
• Redshirt junior wide receiver Luke Timian finished the game with a career-high 13 receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown. It is the second 10-plus catch game of his career, both in 2017.
• Timian's 23-yard TD reception was his first of the season and the third of his career.
• True freshman wide receiver Whop Philyor ended the day with career-highs, totaling 13 receptions for 127 yards and a touchdown. Philyor's 13 catches are an Indiana true freshman record and his yardage is the most for a Hoosier true freshman since O.J. Conner (140) against Ball State on Sept. 13, 1997. He is the fourth true freshman (5th time) in IU history to reach the century mark (Conner twice, Tandon Doss, Ernie Jones).
• Philyor recorded his second touchdown of the season on an 11-yard reception.
• Cobbs, Timian and Philyor become the first IU trio to record 10-or-more receptions each in one game in program history.
• Indiana had two 100-yard receivers (Cobbs, Philyor) for the first time since Sept. 24, 2016 against Wake Forest (Nick Westbrook, Ricky Jones).
• Timian and Philyor's 13 receptions are tied for the fourth-highest, single-game total in program history.
• In his first career start, redshirt freshman running back Cole Gest recorded his first career touchdown – a 23-yard TD reception in the first quarter.
• Senior linebacker Tegray Scales led the Hoosiers with eight tackles, including a half-sack and 1.5 tackles for loss, his 13th career multi-TFL contest.
• With the half-sack, Scales moved into a tie for eighth place on the career sacks list with 16.0. Scales has 4.0 sacks this season.
• Scales ranks fourth all-time in school history with 41.5 TFL for his career and has 8.0 this year.
• Senior linebacker Chris Covington finished the game with seven tackles and a tackle for loss. The TFL was the eighth this season for Covington, giving him 11 for his career.
• Senior defensive back Tony Fields' interception was the fourth of his career and his first this season.
• Senior defensive lineman Robert McCray III had a half-sack, giving him 2.5 for the season and 5.0 for his career.
• Sophomore defensive lineman Allen Stallings IV recorded a safety for IU in the first quarter. It marked the first safety for the Hoosiers since Oct. 22, 2016 at Northwestern.
• Junior defensive lineman Jacob Robinson recorded his first career blocked kick and the first for the Hoosiers since Sept. 30, 2017, when junior safety Jonathan Crawford blocked a field goal at Penn State.
• Redshirt freshman defensive lineman Jerome Johnson recorded his first career sack and second TFL.
• Redshirt junior defensive lineman Mike Barwick Jr. recorded his second sack of the season and the fourth of his career.
• With four extra points and a 41-yard field goal, fifth-year senior kicker Griffin Oakes moved into second place on IU's career total points list with 326.
• Oakes has connected on six-straight field goal attempts.
• Oakes' 64 career field goals is an Indiana school record and shares eighth place all-time in Big Ten history.
• Redshirt junior offensive lineman Wes Martin (8th-time this season), senior linebacker Tegray Scales (8th), fifth-year senior quarterback Richard Lagow (8th) and senior defensive end Greg Gooch (8th) served as today's game captains.
• Maryland won the opening coin toss and deferred. The Hoosiers are 5-for-8 in coin tosses this season.
