On facing Rutgers...
"They are a much better football team for sure after watching them on film. Just following them throughout the season, you can tell there's a big difference. Coach Ash has done a great job there and their kids are buying into what he's doing. Last year we were down by 11 at their place and had to fight to get that one up there. We know it's going to be a tremendous opportunity for us, tremendous challenge wrapped up into one. Our kids have had a really good week of preparation and I expect them to play our best."
On the importance of controlling the ball...
"It looks like the weather will be different than we've had. You have to adjust for that and the good news is we had some of that yesterday and we were able to be out in it and stay outside the entire time. That was good for us. Those are factors that affect the game, effects possession and ball security. Those don't cease to be a priority no matter what the weather is doing. The opportunities to get takeaways for the defense is huge and the responsibility for the offense to protect it is even more so. You have to understand those conditions and our guys will be prepared for that and ready for it. It's going to be a tough football game for sure."
On the senior class...
"It'd be very important (to win on Senior Day). They've meant so much to the program, so many quality young men and great players that have really laid a tremendous foundation for us and have really changed the perception of the program, the expectations and the performance. Just want to see those guys finish on a high note at home and finish the season strong."
