EAST LANSING, Mich. – Three Hoosiers had five or more kills and sophomore Ally Badowski had a career-high in blocks in the Indiana three set loss (25-15, 25-12, 25-18) at No. 8 Michigan State on Saturday at Jenison Fieldhouse.

Redshirt sophomore Kendall Beerman had six kills and Elizabeth Asdell and Ally Badowski added five kills each. Sophomore setter Victoria Brisack tallied 21 assists and freshman libero Bayli Lebo recorded 10 digs.

After falling behind 2-0 in the match, the Hoosiers (12-18, 1-17) showed fight in the third set.

In one sequence in set three, Badowski got a kill and combined with Hayden Huybers with a block to tie the third set, 10-10.

With the scored tied at 14-14, the Spartans scored three straight points to gain some breathing room and a 17-14 lead.

Indiana kept it close at 20-17, but Michigan State scored five of the next six point to take the third set and win the match in three sets.

The Hoosiers will conclude the regular season by hosting two matches next week. Indiana will host Michigan on Friday Nov. 24 at 6:00 p.m. and host Michigan State on Saturday Nov. 25 at 7:00 p.m.
