No. 2 Hoosiers Blank No. 25 Old Dominion, 3-0, in NCAA Tournament

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 2-seeded Indiana University men's soccer team defeated the No. 25-ranked Old Dominion Monarchs, 3-0, on Sunday afternoon at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium in Bloomington, Ind.
With the victory, the Hoosiers improve to 16-0-5 on the season overall, while the Monarchs season comes to a close with a record of 13-6-2.
IU remains the only undefeated team in the nation and advances to the NCAA Tournament Round of 16 for the 37th time in program history and for the sixth time under head coach Todd Yeagley.
The Hoosiers will host the New Hampshire Wildcats on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 7:00 p.m. ET at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium.
Mason Toye had a goal and an assist to lead the Hoosiers, while Grant Lillard netted the match-winner. Austin Panchot scored the team's third goal, while Spencer Glass and Andrew Gutman had assists in the victory.
Freshman goalkeeper Trey Muse and the Hoosier defense recorded the team's fourth-straight shutout, pushing the team's total to a NCAA-leading 17 on the season. Muse made one save in the victory.
The Hoosiers got on the board in the 39th minute off a well-taken corner kick from Glass, who sent a ball to the near post. Lillard was there, burying the header from two-yards out. The senior's second goal of the season gave IU a 1-0 lead over the Monarchs.
Indiana added another goal shortly after half, as Toye took full advantage of a bad ODU pass. With the Monarchs looking to back pass to a defender, Toye stepped in and streaked towards net. The freshman fired a shot from the top-right of the 18-yard box, scoring to the far-left post. Toye's team-best 10th goal of the season gave the Hoosiers a 2-0 advantage.
IU was on the attack again in the 63rd minute, as Gutman booted the ball to Toye, who flicked on Panchot in to space. The junior cracked a shot from the top of the box, beating the Old Dominion keeper to the far post. Panchot's fourth score of the season gave IU the team's winning margin of 3-0.
For the match, Indiana out-shot Old Dominion, 17-9, getting nine shots on-goal to one for the Monarchs. Corner kicks were 8-4 in favor of the Hoosiers.
Tickets for Saturday's match are $10 for adults and $5 for youth (18 & under) and can be purchased at IUHoosiers.com. Indiana University students will get in free as IU Athletics will purchase their tickets for each round of the NCAA Tournament that the Hoosiers host. Students must show student ID at the ticket window to redeem free ticket.
