
IU Women’s Golf Announces Three For Class of 2022

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Women's Golf head coach Clint Wallman has announced the signing of three players to national letters of intent on Tuesday. Maddie Dittoe (Indianapolis, Ind.), Alexis Miestowksi (Schereville, Ind.) and Arushi Singh (Naperville, Ill.) will make up the class of 2022.
"We are so excited to have Alexis, Maddie and Arushi join the Hoosier Golf family," Wallman said "All three bring big time games to the collegiate level and I expect them to make instant contributions on the course as well as in the classroom and locker room. I expect that this class will help push us forward as we work towards our goal of a Big Ten Championship and beyond."
Maddie Dittoe
A native of Indianapolis, Dittoe arrives in Bloomington after four years at Cathedral High School where she helped her team to four-straight city tournament championships, all-catholic team champions and sectional championships. Dittoe was four-time all-city selection and a three-time all-catholic medalist and earned four varsity letters for golf at Cathedral. She qualified as an individual for the state championships as a senior and helped her team to a fifth-place finish at the 2015 state championships. Dittoe will follow her parents' footsteps at IU, as her father is former Hoosiers quarterback Chris Dittoe (1993-96).
Alexis Mietowski
Mietowski also hails from the Hoosier state, a native of Schererville, Indiana where played at Lake Central High School where she earned IHSA state championships medalist honors in 2015. She was instrumental in leading them to two state championship appearances and four sectional titles. She was also a three-time individual medalist at sectionals and 2015 regional champion. She earned three first team all-state honors and was the conference MVP in 2015 and 2017. She set record lows for Lake Central for nine holes (32), 18 holes (63) and record setting average of 68. In addition, Mietowski was a three-time team MVP, 2015 and 2017 Post Tribune Athlete of the Year, and 2015 IndyStar Golfer of the Year.
Arushi Singh
Singh comes to Indiana from Waubonsie Velly High School in Naperville, Ill. where she helped her team to a fifth-place finish at the 2017 state finals. She is an all-academic, all-conference and all-state honoree. She was also named team MVP at Waubonsie and was also selected as a captain during her four years as a letterwinner.
