Postgame Notes
• Indiana committed less than 10 turnovers for the third game in a row, a program first since at least the 1996-97 season.
• The Hoosiers committed a season low two turnovers in the first half, the fewest for Indiana in any half since the second period of last year's game against SIU-Edwardsville (12/2/16).
• The Hoosiers edged Duke 46-44 on points in the paint. Indiana has won the paint points battle in 6-of-7 games this season.
• IU shot over 50 percent from the floor (50.8%) for the third straight game.
• Indiana won the battle in scoring points off the bench, 21-5.
• It was the first home loss to a top-four team since Dec. 31, 2010 (vs. No. 2 Ohio State). The Hoosiers previously won six consecutive home games against teams ranked in the AP top four.
• Twenty-four of Indiana's first 30 points came in the paint and the Hoosiers started the game going 14-for-18 from inside the arc.
• In a back-and-forth first half that ended 42-38 in Duke's favor, the Hoosiers and Blue Devils exchanged the lead 10 times and tied the score 11 times.

• Redshirt senior forward Collin Hartman matched his career-high with four field goal makes. It's the ninth time in Hartman's career that he has made four field goals.
• Hartman entered double figures on the score sheet for the first time since earning 11 points at Michigan State (2/14/16).
• Senior guard Josh Newkirk had 8 points and 4 assists.
• Freshman Aljami Durham made his second career start.
• Indiana held a 5-3 advantage on 3-point field goal makes and held the Blue Devils 17.9 percent (3-of-17) from the perimeter.
