Scores Higher In Round Two at Ka’anapali Collegiate Classic

LAHAINA, Maui, Hawaii – Scores were higher nearly across the board during the second round of the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic on Saturday at Ka'anapali Golf Course in Lahaina. Indiana registered a team score of 298 in round two to give them a two-round total of 574 and 12th place out of 20 teams at the event.
On average, the course played nearly four shots more difficult on Saturday when compared to Friday.
Brendon Doyle once again paced Indiana individually, as he followed up his 66 on Friday with a 1-over par round of 72 on Saturday. He is tied for 16th at 4-under par for the tournament after closing his second round with a birdie on his final hole.
Sophomore Brock Ochsenreiter used a second round score of 73 to move to 1-under par overall for the tournament and at tie for 26th.
Jake Brown is in a tie for 34th at Even par through three rounds after posting a 74 on Saturday.
Evan Yakubov logged a 79 on Saturday while Jack Sparrow came in with an 80, leaving them tied for 98th and 107th, respectively.
Round three will get underway at 8:30 a.m. (Hawaiian)/2:30 p.m. (Eastern) on Sunday at Ka'anapali. Fans can follow along with hole-by-hole live scoring on GolfStat.com.
