No. 1 IU Men’s Soccer Hosts Penn State in Big Ten Tournament

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 1-ranked Indiana University men's soccer team will host the Penn State Nittany Lions in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament on Sunday, Nov. 5 at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium.
Kickoff for Sunday's match between the No. 2-seeded Hoosiers and No. 7-seeded Nittany Lions is slated for 1:00 p.m. ET. The match will be broadcast live nationally on the Big Ten Network. Live stats and a link for a live stream of the match can be found at IUHoosiers.com.
Any fan who brings either their ticket from Saturday's football game against Wisconsin will get admission to the men's soccer match for just $2.
SETTING THE SCENE
• The No. 1-ranked Indiana University men's soccer team will face the Penn State Nittany Lions in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament on Sunday afternoon in Bloomington.

• The Penn State Nittany Lions finished the regular season with an overall record of 5-9-2 on the year and earned the No. 7 seed in the Big Ten Tournament after posting a mark of 2-6-0 in league play.
• After dropping six-in-a-row, the Nittany Lions are playing their best soccer of the season and enter the Big Ten Tournament winners of three-straight matches that included victories over Rutgers and Northwestern.
• Penn State is 0-4 against ranked teams this season, but has played each one tough, losing three contests by just one goal in each.
• In a preseason poll conducted of the league's coaches, Penn State was picked to finish sixth in the Big Ten. Evan Finney, Aaron Molloy and Pierre Reedy were named to the Big Ten Preseason Honors List.

• Joining Lillard and Toye on the All-Big Ten First-Team were both Andrew Gutman and Francesco Moore. Griffin Dorsey, Timmy Mehl and Trey Muse were all named Second-Team All-Big Ten. Jack Griffith was named the Hoosiers' Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree.
