• Indiana tallied 10 blocked shots on the evening, its first 10-block game since Nov. 15, 2013 against Samford.
• In a game in which the Hoosiers matched their season-high with 87 points (11/24 vs. Eastern Michigan; 11/22 vs. Arkansas State), seven IU players scored at least eight points.
• Trailing 9-8 at the first media timeout, Indiana used a 15-2 run to take a 23-11 lead at the 8:16 mark, a run that spanned six minutes and 15 seconds.
• The Hoosiers closed the final 2:37 of the first half with an 11-2 run to enter the break with a 38-26 lead.
• Indiana posted a season-high 21 fast break points, holding a 21-11 advantage in that category. The Hoosiers also had the edge in points off turnovers (18-4) and bench points (35-22).
• Redshirt senior Josh Newkirk scored a season-high 20 points, going 6-for-9 from the field and 3-for-4 from three-point range. It marked his fourth career 20-point game and he added six assists, four rebounds, a block and a steal in 24 minutes of action.
• IU used a 15-2 run to pull away and go up 70-45 with 8:49 to go in the second half. Newkirk accounted for nine of those points during the run.
• With his 12-point effort, senior Robert Johnson is now averaging 16.3 points over his last three contests (20 vs. Notre Dame, 17 vs. Fort Wayne). His 1,141 career points rank 39th in program history, trailing Cody Zeller for the No. 38 spot by 16 points. After hitting two threes to give him 195 for his career, Johnson is just five makes from cracking the program's top five.
• Junior Juwan Morgan accounted for three of IU's 10 blocks in the game, while adding nine points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 28 minutes.
• Senior Freddie McSwain Jr. matched his career-high with 10 points (11/24 vs. Eastern Michigan) on a career-best four makes from the field. He added six rebounds (five on the offensive glass) and a block in his 15 minutes played.
• Sophomore guard Devonte Green posted a season-high seven rebounds to go along with nine points, three assists two steals and a block.
• Sophomore De'Ron Davis was 3-for-3 from the field, scoring nine points to go along with five rebounds, two blocks and a steal in 12 minutes on the floor.
• Graduate student Collin Hartman saw 14 minutes of action netting two points and two steals.
• Redshirt junior Zach McRoberts knocked down two, three-pointers for the first time in his career. The Carmel, Ind.-native finished with eight points, six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 22 minutes of action.
• Freshman Justin Smith matched his career-high with two blocks while adding four points, three rebounds and an assist in eight minutes.
• Freshman Aljami Durham added two points, two rebounds and an assist in 19 minutes of action.
• Freshman forward Clifton Moore scored the first two points of his career while adding a career-best two rebounds.
• Senior Tim Priller appeared in his second game this season and the 33rd of his career.
• Redshirt sophomore Johnny Jager saw action for the second time in his career, as he entered the game in the final minute.
• The Hoosiers return to Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on December 29 to take on Youngstown State at 8 p.m. on BTN to close out the regular season non-conference slate. IU will resume Big Ten play at Wisconsin (Jan. 2) and Minnesota (Jan. 6).
