Jedra, Sanjuan Lead Hoosiers on Day One of Clover Cup

Day One Results
MESA, Ariz. – Seniors Ana Sanjuan and Theresa-Ann Jedra paced the Indiana Women's Golf team in the opening round of the Clover Cup at Longbow Golf Course on Friday afternoon.
Sanjuan and Jedra both tied with a 4-over (76) finishes in day one action and sit in ties for 42nd overall. Both finished plus two on the front and back nine of the par-72 course, with Sanjuan posting a birdie on her fifth hole of the day. Freshman Elisa Pierre follows the duo in 57th place (+6, 78) while sophomore Erin Harper finished up her day with solid play on the back nine where she went even with two birdies (+8, T68th).
Redshirt freshman rounded out the IU top five lineup with a plus-9 finish and a tie for 72nd overall.
The entire IU roster getting a chance to compete at the Clover Cup, with individual finishes led by freshman Emma Fisher, who eagled her fifth hole of the day and the first of her career. She finished the day 6-over while junior Alix Kong went 7-over and in a tie for 64th. Junior Pear Siriko (+11) and senior Paige Crafton (+14) rounded out the scores for the day.
Florida State leads the field with a nine-under team performance as Arizona State, Oklahoma and Houston round out the top four. Indiana shot a combined 310 for the day (+22) and sit in 14th overall.
IU will resume play in the three-round tournament with 18 holes tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. ET.
