• Indiana extends its lead over Ohio State in the all-time series to 107-81. The win was also the first for the Hoosiers in Columbus since a 81-68 victory on Feb. 10, 2013.
• The most points Ohio State had allowed at Value City Arena was 84 (3 times) before Indiana scored 96.
• The 54 points scored in the first half are the most by a Big Ten team in a Big Ten game this season
• Indiana was 34-of-58 from the floor against the Buckeyes, good for 58.6 percent. That percentage ranks second-best by an IU team in Big Ten play this season. It's also the fifth time in Big Ten play this season that they shot above 50.0 percent for a game. Overall on the year, it's the 11th game at 50 percent or better.
• The Hoosiers were 12-of-23 from the 3-point line, the 11th game with at least 10 3-point field goals made this season.
• The 18 assists are tied for the second-most in a Big Ten game by the Hoosiers this season.
• Indiana registered four blocked shots as a team in the game, giving the Hoosiers 141 on the year – the most in the Tom Crean era at Indiana (since 2008-09) – and tied for fifth all-time for a single-season at Indiana. As a team, it's the most blocked shots in a season by an IU team since 175 in 2002-03. The IU single-season record is 192 in 2001-02.
• The last time IU had five players score in double figures in the same game was the Big Ten opener this season against Nebraska on Dec. 28, 2016.
• Junior guard Robert Johnson registered a team-high 26 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the floor – five of those made field goals coming from behind the 3-point line. He also added six rebounds, six assists and two steals.
• Junior guard James Blackmon Jr. tallied 22 points and now has 1,186 in his career, 10 points shy of passing Quinn Buckner for 36th on the career scoring list at Indiana. Blackmon also added a team-high eight rebounds.
• Sophomore center Thomas Bryant was 7-of-9 from the floor to finish with 16 points. His 77.8 percent shooting from the floor in the game was his highest of the season when he has attempted nine or more shots.
• Redshirt junior Josh Newkirk was 6-of-10 from the floor and 4-of-6 at the free throw line for his 18 points. In addition, he chipped in five assists while playing 39 minutes.
• The fifth player to reach double figures was junior Juwan Morgan, who was a perfect 4-of-4 from the floor for 11 points to go with four rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots.
• Freshman Devonte Green made one 3-point field goal for his thee points in the game. He has now made 20 3-point field goals this season and is shooting 40.8 percent from long range.
• While he didn't score, Zach McRoberts came off the bench to provide two rebounds and three assists.
