Indiana Sweeps Nebraska

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana men's tennis (12-10) swept the Nebraska Cornhuskers, 7-0, on Friday afternoon at the IU Varsity Courts.
The Hoosiers led it off with two doubles win and then their singles won at every position.
At the two spot, sophomore Antonio Cembellin and Stefan Lugonjic grabbed a 6-2 win and sophomore Afonso Salgado and freshman Bennett Crane locked up the doubles point for IU with a win.
For the third time this season, Indiana won at all six singles positons.
Crane and Sophomore Oliver Sec made quick work at the five and six spots, Crane winning 6-1, 6-1 and Sec winning 6-0, 6-1.
At the three spot, Cembellin clinched the win for the Hoosiers with a 6-1, 6-4 win. Cembellin improved to 6-2 when he plays at the three singles spot.
Leading 4-0, junior Kevion Tabrizi won 6-3, 7-5 at the four spot. Senior Matthew McCoy and junior Raheel Manji finished things with close wins. McCoy won 6-3, 7-5 and Manji won in a third set tiebreaker.
Up next, IU will host the Iowa Hawkeyes on Sunday at Noon. Lugonjic and McCoy will be honored for their dedication to program as part of senior day.
