#iubb Signees Take Advantage of All-Star Experiences

BLOOMINGTON, Indiana - Indiana University basketball signees Al Durham and Justin Smith led Team Lightning to a 122-109 victory over Team Thunder in the Derby Festival Basketball Classic at Freedom Hall in Louisville this past weekend.
"I had a lot of fun. It was a good experience," Smith said. "Got to know Al a little bit better, so it was a good weekend."
Smith had 15 points, four rebounds and three assists in 20 minutes of action, while Durham had 10 points, six rebounds and three assists. Smith also finished second in the event's slam dunk contest.
"Justin and I connect very well," Durham said. "We had fun this weekend, and I think we're going to do great things at Indiana."
The Hoosiers third signee, Clifton Moore, played in the regional game of the Jordan Brand Classic at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. His Blue team lost to the Red team, 170-162, Moore contributed 11 points, two rebounds, an assist, a block and two steals in 21 minutes of action.
Moore reaffirmed his commitment to the Hoosiers on Sunday.
"I'm very comfortable with their plans for me in the future," said Moore. "I know the other recruits and Coach Miller runs the same stuff that my AAU team did."
