Day Two El Tigre Results

PUERTO VALLARTA, Mexico – Sophomore Erin Harper shot a 71 for Indiana Women's Golf as it moved up two spots in the standings on day two of the Hawkeye El Tigre Invitational at El Tigre Golf and Country Club on Tuesday.

Harper shot 1-under par as she hit three birdies, including one on the opening hole of the day (hole 10). She combines for a two-day total of 148 and sits in a tie for 13^th overall. Junior Alix Kong came in next for IU, as she chipped in a 75 and overall sits in a tie for 38^th.

Senior Ana Sanjuan and redshirt freshman Carolina Garrett each scored 76 in the second round, as Sanjuan is second on IU's leaderboard win a tie for 27^th while Garrett is tied with Kong for 38^th. Senior Theresa-Ann Jedra rounded out the IU lineup as she shaved three strokes off yesterday's round, coming in with a 78 and in a tie for 60^th heading into tomorrow's final round.

Competing as an individual, freshman Emma Fisher carded a 79 and moved into a tie for 47^th place overall. As a team, Indiana shot 298 to move up two spots into seventh place in the 14-team tournament. Their two-day total stands at 605, just four strokes back of fifth place Kennesaw State and nine behind fourth place Kansas.

The final day at the Hawkeye El Tigre Invitational tees off at 9 a.m. ET with a shotgun start.
