Hoosiers Will Travel To Seton Hall For 2017 Gavitt Games

BLOOMINGTON, Indiana - The Indiana University men's basketball team will face Seton Hall on Wednesday, November 15 as part of the Gavitt Games which features contests between members of the Big Ten Conference and the Big East Conference. The game will be played in the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and will be televised on FS1.
IU holds a 2-1 record against the Pirates. Seton Hall won a Sweet Sixteen matchup in 1989, 78-65, in Denver, Colorado. IU captured the next two matchups winning 78-74, in New York in in the finals of the 1992 Preseason NIT and in Indianapolis, 83-69, in the 1998 NABC Classic.
IU is 1-0 in the Gavitt Games. The Hoosiers won in Bloomington against Creighton, 86-65, in November of 2015. Seton Hall defeated Iowa in Iowa City a year ago, 91-83, while earning a No. 9 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
