Indiana Set For Fourth Straight NCAA Championship Appearance

WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – The Indiana women's rowing team, ranked No. 14 in the national polls this week and the fifth out of six Big Ten crews in the polls, will make their fourth appearance in the NCAA Championship in as many seasons on Friday at Lake Mercer in West Windsor, N.J.
The regatta is hosted by the Ivy League and Metra Atlantic Athletic Conference and runs through Sunday.
For the First Varsity Eight, they will get started on Friday in their first heat at 9:24 a.m. alongside Northeastern, Texas, Stanford, Syracuse and Jacksonville.
At 10:00 a.m., the Second Varsity Eight will compete against Northeastern, Syracuse, California and Ohio State.
And then at 11:00 a.m., the First Varsity Four will race Navy, Stanford, Michigan, Wisconsin and Jacksonville.
In their first NCAA appearance in 2014, the Hoosiers finished 11th as a team and then followed that up with another 11th place finish in 2015. Then last year in Sacramento, Indiana came in 15th as a team.
