IU Athletics Announces Administrative Changes

Bloomington, Ind.- Indiana University Athletics today announced new responsibilities, promotions and staff assignments within the Department's senior administration.
Stephen Harper has been hired as the new Senior Associate Athletic Director for Administration and External Alliances. Harper joins IU Athletics after serving in the University General Counsel's office for the past six years. Harper will oversee facilities/capital projects, event management, external alliances (i.e. IU Sports Properties/adidas), contracts, public records, equipment operations and sustainability. Additionally, Harper will have sport oversight of selected sport programs.
Kristin Borrelli has been promoted to Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance Services. Borrelli will direct and be responsible for the Department's compliance services program along with eligibility. Borrelli previously served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance Services. Borrelli will also have sport oversight of selected sport programs.
Mattie White, Senior Associate Athletic Director for Academic Services/Director of the Excellence Academy/SWA, will now also oversee Sports Medicine and Nutrition in addition to her existing responsibilities.
Kris Fowler has taken on a new role as Senior Associate Athletic Director for Sport Administration. In this capacity, Fowler leaves compliance to coordinate sports administration, policies and procedures and enrollment services along with certification/governance. Fowler will also serve as the sport administrator for several Olympic sports programs.
