
Frappell Helps Canadian U-23 National Team Set World Best Time

PLOVDIV, BULGARIA – Antonia Frappell, who will be a sophomore on the Indiana Rowing team in the 2017-18 season, is competing in the Women's Eight for Canada at the World Rowing U-23 Championships.
In it's first race of the Championship, the Canadian crew set a new world record with a time of 6:00.13 to earn the top seed for Sunday's A final. The previous record was set the heat prior by the United States crew, as they posted a time of 6:00.35.
The A final for the women's eight will take place at 5:40 a.m. (Eastern) and will be streamed live on worldrowing.com.
Frappell, a who hails from Victoria, B.C., was a member of the First Varsity Eight for the Hoosiers this past season. The helped the eight finish third at the Big Ten Championships and then take 12th place overall at the NCAA Championships while the team took 12th as well.
