Whalen Wins ITA Summer Circuit

Junior Natalie Whalen captured the singles title at the ITA Summer Circuit in Bloomington on Monday.
Her path to the final was not easy as she faced incoming IU freshman Michelle McKamey in the semifinal and had a hard faught battle against teammate Caitlin Bernard in the final.
In the final match Whalen prevailed 6-3, 3-6, 10-8.
Next up for Whalen will be the ITA Summer National at Texas Christian University, held Aug. 12-15.
