BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana volleyball team has announced the addition of Nitzan Lasry to the roster. Lasry will be a freshman on the 2017 team.
Lasry, a 5-7 setter, comes from Tel-Mond, Israel, and attended Rabin High School.
"We are excited to add Nitzan as a late addition to our roster," IU head coach Sherry Dunbar-Kruzan said. "She has played at a high level and has a maturity that most freshmen don't possess. She will bring a unique viewpoint on having this opportunity of coming to the United States and playing in the Big Ten. We are excited to learn from her during her career."
At Rabin High School, Lasry was the team MVP in 2015 and part of the high school national championship team.
Lasry has played indoor volleyball and beach volleyball. She is the daughter of Meir Lasry and Orna-Gil Lasry and intends to major in Economics at Indiana.
