
No. 1 Hoosiers Face Northwestern on Sunday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 1-ranked Indiana University men's soccer team will head to Evanston, Ill. to face the Northwestern Wildcats on Sunday afternoon in a Big Ten conference match.
Kickoff at Martin Stadium is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET, with live stats available at IUHoosiers.com. The match will be streamed live via BTN Plus on BTN2Go.com.
SETTING THE SCENE
• The No. 1-ranked Indiana University men's soccer team will hit the road to face the Northwestern Wildcats on Sunday afternoon in Evanston, Ill.
• The Hoosiers enter Friday's contest with a 4-0-2 record on the season overall and a 0-0-2 mark in Big Ten play after playing No. 18-ranked Michigan to a 1-1 draw last Wednesday.
• For the match, IU out-shot the Wolverines, 17-13, getting seven shots on goal to six for UM.
• Freshman goalkeeper Trey Muse has played well this season, posting four shutouts while allowing just two goals with 15 saves.
• Junior Andrew Gutman leads the Hoosiers with three goals scored on the season, while freshman Mason Toye, junior Trevor Swartz and senior Rashad Hyacenth have all netted two on the year.
• A pair of freshmen - Griffin Dorsey and Thomas Warr - lead IU with two assists each.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
• The Northwestern Wildcats enters Sunday's match with the Hoosiers with an overall record of 1-5 on the season and a 0-2 mark in Big Ten conference play.
• The Wildcats lone win so far came in the season opener at home in overtime to Valparaiso, 2-1.
• In Big Ten action, Northwestern lost 1-0 at home to Ohio State and fell 3-1 at Wisconsin on Wednesday.
• In a preseason poll conducted of the league's coaches, the Wildcats were picked to finish eighth in the league. Elo Ozumba, Mattias Tomasino and Rouven Wahlfeldt were all named to the Big Ten Preseason Honors List.

• Indiana has started the season undefeated through six matches for the second-straight year and for the 12th time in program history.
