Haley Harris Named Big Ten Athlete Of The Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Junior Haley Harris earned her career first Big Ten Women's Track Athlete of the Week, announced by the league on Wednesday.
The Carmel, Ind. native won the 800m run in the Indiana vs. Tennessee Duals with the time of 2:10.46. Harris nabbed the No. 3 spot in the country with her performance.
At the Hoosier Open, Harris won the mile race with the time of 4:52.55, which is currently has her in the No. 5 spot in the country.
Harris and the Hoosiers will travel to Nutter Field House in Lexington, Ky. this weekend to compete in the Kentucky Invitational on Friday, January 12 and Saturday, January 13.
