• Indiana won its fifth straight game inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall and are now 4-0 at home in conference play.
• IU improved to 4-0 in games decided 5 points or less, including 3-0 in the Big Ten.
• With its 10 steals, IU is tied for the Big Ten only lead in steals at 7.3 per game.
• In its 5 Big Ten wins, IU has a +26 turnover margin.
• IU held Maryland to 31.0% shooting from the floor and 30.8% shooting from long distance in the second half.
• IU shot 50.0% from the field, the first time it has made at least half of its field goal attempts since shooting 50.8% against Duke.
• The Hoosiers are 11-2 when scoring 70+ points.
• IU trailed 62-57 with 4:53 to play and outscored the Terrapins down the stretch, 14-6. It was the third win for IU this season (Notre Dame, at Minnesota), the Hoosiers trailed with 5 minutes or less to go.

• Senior guard Robert Johnson moved up to 31st place on Indiana's all-time scoring list with 12 points tonight. With 1,256 career points, Johnson passed Tom Van Arsdale (1,252 – 1963-65).
• After converting on two 3-pointers, Johnson extended his career 3FG made to 211, fourth on the IU all-time 3FG made list.
• This is the third consecutive game and fourth in the last five that Johnson has had at least six defensive rebounds. He finished the game with eight defensive rebounds.
• While scoring seven points, sophomore guard Devonte Green also set a career-high for blocks with two.
• Redshirt junior Zach McRoberts scored 7 and put up five-plus points for the fourth time this season. For the fifth straight game, McRoberts posted a steal and at least one assist.
• The Hoosiers went on a 9-0 run lasting 2:35 from 17:22 to 14:35 in the first half in which the Hoosiers made 4-of-5 field goals.
• IU ended the first half on a 6-0 run over 1:27 while holding Maryland scoreless for the last 2:26 of the half.
• In the second half, Indiana held the Terrapins to a scoring drought lasting 5:25 from 12:34 to 7:09. During that time, the Hoosiers forced three turnovers and went on a 7-0 run.
