Cincinnati, Xavier Up Next for Hoosiers

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana women's tennis team is back at home on Saturday Jan. 27 for matches against Cincinnati and Xavier.
The Hoosiers (2-0) will take on Cincinnati at 10:30 a.m. and Xavier at 4:00 p.m. Both matches will be played at the IU Tennis Center.
Indiana started the season with wins against Western Michigan (6-1) and Butler (7-0) last week. The Hoosiers dropped only three sets combined for both matches and played eight different players.
Cincinnati is 3-1 overall this season with wins over Butler, Wright State and Dayton. Xavier is 0-2 on the season and will play at Eastern Kentucky on Friday before traveling to Bloomington.
The Hoosiers went 5-0 in doubles matches last weekend and have an overall doubles record of 48-21 this season.
Indiana got contributions from a variety of people last weekend, including two freshmen that played in both matches.
IU head coach Ramiro Azcui said he liked the energy and enthusiasm that the Hoosiers came with on the opening weekend of dual match play.
The promotions for this weekend will be BBC Bagels for the Cincinnati match and Script Indiana Cups for the Xavier match.
