Indiana vs. No. 3 Purdue

• Indiana shot 50.0 percent or better from the field for its third straight game. IU has shot 51.9% from the field in those games.
• Indiana outrebounded Purdue, 31-30.
• Junior forward Juwan Morgan continued his strong season with a 24-point effort on top of a team-high seven rebounds. It is the third straight game in which he has recorded 20+ points.
• In the last three games, Morgan has averaged 25.7 points and seven rebounds.
• Morgan also had the only blocks on the team with two.
• With five assists, redshirt senior guard Josh Newkirk led the Hoosiers in that category. Newkirk also put up four points and grabbed two rebounds.
• Freshman forward Justin Smith had six rebounds, the second-highest tally of his career (career-high was 12 against Howard on Nov. 12 2017).
• Senior guard Robert Johnson continued to climb the Indiana all-time scoring list as his 21 points lifted him into 29th with 1,285 career points. It is the fifth time this season Johnson has put up 20 or more points.
• With two 3-pointers, Johnson pushed his career total to 215, the fourth most in IU history.
• Redshirt junior Zach McRoberts notched six rebounds, his most in the past six games. With two assists, McRoberts has dished out an assist in seven straight games.
• A 3-for-3 day from the field gave senior forward Freddie McSwain Jr. eight points, the third most of his season.
